A vision we are working towards

The Agri-Village

A vision for a sustainable rural coastal village on the Wild Coast near Lusikisiki — one we hope to develop in partnership with local communities and traditional leadership, subject to their agreement and support.

Early engagement. No land secured. Nothing approved yet.

A vision built with the land, not against it

The Agri-Village is the development we are working towards: a different kind of project that would protect the coastline, support local livelihoods, and create homes people are proud to live in. Nothing is approved and no land is secured. We are in the early stages of engagement, listening to the communities who know this coast best, and exploring what might be possible together.

Living

Coastal Rural Living

We imagine homes designed for the climate and the culture of the Wild Coast. Low-density living surrounded by indigenous coastal forest, open grassland and ocean views — a slower, healthier pace of life rooted in place, if the project proceeds.

Farming

A Working FarmFarm to Table

At the heart of our vision is a working farm that could supply fresh produce to residents and the surrounding area. We are exploring regenerative methods, food gardens, and local cooperatives so that, if it goes ahead, the Agri-Village could help feed itself — and its neighbours.

Conservation

Conservation of the Coast

The Wild Coast is one of South Africa's most precious natural corridors. Our intention is to set aside significant land for conservation, protect sensitive dunes and wetlands, and keep public access to the coastline open — always in partnership with those who steward this land.

Partnership

Community Partnership

This vision will only move forward with the community, not without it. We are in early conversation with local leadership, residents and landowners to understand how the Agri-Village could create jobs, skills and shared value — and whether it should proceed at all.

Sustainability

Off-Grid & Sustainable Living

If the project is realised, we would build in solar power, rainwater harvesting, composting and sensitive wastewater systems from the start. The goal is a village that is resilient, low-impact and largely self-sufficient — a model for responsible coastal development, shaped by community input.
